Position Description:
CGI is seeking a motivated Business Analyst with a passion for solving business challenges to join our team in South Florida. In this role, you'll provide business teams with a high-quality, consistent level of proactive and professional IT service, helping support the technology capabilities that enable their operations. You'll work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand needs, gather and document requirements, analyze processes, support issue resolution, and contribute to solution delivery using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
As a full-time consultant at CGI, you'll support local enterprise clients, collaborate with dedicated colleagues, and contribute to meaningful outcomes for both internal and client partners. You'll help create and maintain positive business relationships that encourage open communication, reliability, trust, and service loyalty. The work will be varied and may be complex, requiring initiative, sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn new business domains while working across different technology teams.

This position is located at the client site in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area in a hybrid environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, system requirements, user stories, business processes, and process flows.
. Work with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and subject matter experts to understand business needs and support solution development.
. Document current-state and future-state business and system processes.
. Support requirements clarification with technical teams, leveraging Agile techniques where applicable.
. Assist with documenting non-functional requirements, system capabilities, integrations, process design, testing needs, and implementation activities.
. Serve as a liaison between business partners and technical teams through requirements gathering, triage, research, testing support, and production support.
. Help identify business impacts of system issues and facilitate clear communication with stakeholders.
. Support issue resolution by helping troubleshoot, analyze, prioritize, and communicate incidents, problems, and service requests.
. Collaborate with QA resources to help define test scenarios, test cases, and validation needs.
. Support implementation activities, including design review, configuration support, testing, training, cutover, reporting, and go-live readiness.
. Build and maintain positive relationships with business and corporate stakeholders.
. Communicate status, issues, risks, and dependencies to team members, management, and stakeholders as appropriate.
. Follow applicable IT standards, processes, and methodologies, including Quality Assurance, SDLC, PMLC, and support processes.
. Create and maintain SOPs, process documentation, user guides, and related business or system documentation.
. Participate in cross-training to learn applications across the assigned Business Unit application portfolio.
. Learn and apply the tools, processes, and methods needed to perform the role effectively.
. Support assigned Business Unit requests, incidents, and application validation activities.
. Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities as needed.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst working on projects, product teams, application support teams, or technology delivery initiatives.
. Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, system requirements, user stories, process flows, and business rules.
. Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
. Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and/or Systems Development Life Cycle.
. Experience supporting end-to-end implementation activities, including requirements, design, configuration support, testing, training, cutover, reporting, and go-live support.
. Proven ability to support business analysis deliverables related to process improvement, system enhancement, and operational support.
. Working knowledge of QA processes and experience partnering with QA resources to develop test scenarios, test cases, and validation plans.
. Ability to create clear SOPs, process documentation, user guides, and other support documentation.
. Experience supporting issue triage, root cause analysis, incident resolution, and communication between business and IT teams.
. Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple requests, and communicate effectively in fast-moving situations.
. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and active listening skills.
. Ability to build positive relationships with business users, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
. Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and perform application validation as needed.
. CBAP, CCBA, AAC, CSPO, or related business analysis certification are a plus.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 - $167,200.00.
