Position Summaryย 

Theย Revenue Optimization Managerย is responsible forย optimizingย CityDoc'sย front desk operations, revenue cycle performance, and operational workflows across all clinic locations. This role serves as the primary liaison between CityDoc and its billing company, ensuring effective communication, accountability, and continuous improvement of revenue cycle activities.ย 

This position provides oversight of front desk operations, training, workflow standardization, and performance initiatives while partnering closely with clinic leadership to improve operational efficiency, patient experience, and revenue capture. The Revenue Optimization Manager works collaboratively with executive leadership to analyze operational and revenue trends,ย identifyย opportunities for improvement, and implement initiatives that enhance organizational performance and financial outcomes.ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

Front Desk Operations, Training & Workflow Oversightย 

  • Provide operational oversight and support for Front Desk teams across all CityDoc locations.ย ย 

  • Develop, standardize, and continuously improve front desk workflows, processes, and best practices.ย ย 

  • Partner with clinic leadership to ensure consistency in registration, insurance verification, patient scheduling, collections, and customer service.ย ย 

  • Identifyย workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements that enhance both the patient and employee experience.ย ย 

  • Assistย with onboarding, training, and ongoing education of Front Desk staff to ensure operational consistency and adherence to company standards.ย ย 

  • Monitor front desk operational metrics and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and patient satisfaction.ย ย 

  • Collaborate with leadership on operational initiatives that improve clinic performance and support organizational growth.ย 

Revenue Cycle Management & Billing Company Oversightย 

  • Serve as the primary liaison between CityDoc and the billing company (AAAMB).ย 

  • Manage ongoing communicationย regardingย claims performance, denials, accounts receivable, underpayments, payer issues, and revenue opportunities.ย 

  • Review billing company performance metrics and hold regular meetings to ensure accountability and progress toward established goals.ย 

  • Collaborate with the billing company toย identifyย and resolve revenue cycle challenges.ย 

  • Support payer contract reviews, reimbursement analysis, and revenue enhancement initiatives.ย 

  • Monitor reimbursement performance andย assistย with underpayment recovery efforts.ย 

Revenue Integrity & Optimizationย 

  • Analyze trends andย identifyย opportunities to increase net revenue per visit.ย 

  • Collaborate with clinics and the billing company to ensureย accurateย coding, charge capture, and reimbursement processes.ย 

  • Identifyย areas of revenue leakage and implement corrective actions.ย 

  • Lead initiatives aimed at reducing denials, preventable refunds, andย collectionย placements.ย 

Analytics, Reporting & Strategic Initiativesย 

  • Develop andย maintainย financial and operational dashboards.ย 

  • Provide meaningful financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership.ย 

  • Conduct financial modeling to support operational, staffing, and growth decisions.ย 

  • Evaluate new revenue opportunities, service lines, and reimbursement strategies.ย 

  • Track and report key financial and revenue cycle performance indicators.ย 

Collaboration & Leadershipย 

  • Work closely with executive leadership, clinic management, and administrative team on financial and operational initiatives.ย 

  • Provide guidance and educationย regardingย financial processes and performance metrics.ย 

  • Support organizational decision-making throughย accurateย financial analysis and reporting.ย 

  • Lead cross-functional projects focused on improving financial performance, operational efficiency, and revenue generation.ย 

Required Skills & Qualificationsย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.ย 

  • 3โ€“5 years of experience in healthcare finance, revenue cycle management, medical billing, orย a relatedย field.ย 

  • Strong understanding of healthcare billing, reimbursement, payer requirements, and revenue cycle operations.ย 

  • Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and data analysis.ย 

  • Proficiencyย in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.ย 

  • Experience with healthcare practice management systems and EMR platforms preferred.ย 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.ย 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors.ย 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently whileย maintainingย a high levelย of accuracy and attention to detail.ย 

Preferred Qualificationsย 

  • Experience overseeing financial operations for multi-site healthcare organizations.ย 

  • Knowledge of healthcare financial benchmarks, payer contracting, and reimbursement strategies.ย 

  • Experience supporting executive leadership with budgeting, strategic planning, and financial decision-making.ย
