Job Description:
At Regions, the Mortgage Performance and Optimization Manager is responsible for driving and executing defined strategies, projects, and large-scale initiatives while managing groups that support revenue initiatives and business enablement. This role will work closely with key partners across Mortgage and Consumer Banking Group to ensure the needs of the organization are effectively represented during strategy definition, strategic prioritization, initiative design, implementation, and change management efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Understands and supports strategic outcomes by serving as the primary point of contact within the mortgage group and translates defined strategies into action
  • Represents the Mortgage Banking perspective for business process mapping and reviews key mortgage processes related to loan origination, borrower onboarding, customer touchpoints, outbound communications and other critical moments in the borrower's experience
  • Reports to the Head of Mortgage while effectively managing and leading groups that support revenue initiatives and business enablement
  • Provides oversight for mortgage related projects ensuring organizational efficiency and profitability
  • Works closely with team on coverage strategy for market planning and optimization efforts
  • Partners with Finance, Consumer Strategy, Strategic Execution and other key partners on large growth initiatives or cost saving opportunities
  • Collaborates with groups focused on business unit communications and change management, as well as field leaders to support the adoption of large-scale projects and changes
  • Partners with the Strategic Execution group working within the existing project prioritization framework to sponsor initiatives and drive the testing of new technologies and vendor partner services with a focus on transforming the customer experience
  • Ensures soundness in practices and mitigates any procedural gaps
  • Enhances R360 partnerships through collaboration with field leadership and business partners to execute identified R360 opportunities
  • Partners with Consumer Strategy, Product, Pricing and Marketing groups to ensure that marketing/merchandising approach aligns to market level opportunities and objectives

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
This is a single incumbent position.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Twelve (12) years of experience in financial services or a related industry
  • Five (5) years of leadership or staff development experience

Preferences
  • Knowledge of Consumer and Mortgage Banking
  • Experience directly supporting executive leadership roles

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Incentive Pay Plans:
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
