Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

Senior Strategy & Business Operations Manager

The Senior Strategy & Business Operations Manager will play a critical role in shaping and driving strategic initiatives that contribute to the long term direction. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, planning and business operations and partners closely with the different teams such as Commercial Strategy, Operations, Finance and Regulatory & Compliance teams.

This role, which is part of the Global Strategy & Execution team, will translate our strategy into execution by driving company wide alignment, informed decision making, defining our operating and planning rhythms and eventually ensuring we deliver our priorities.

What you'll do:

  • Cross functional alignment and connect strategy (e.g. Commercial, Operations etc) across Adyen.

Strategic Planning:

  • Design, improve and implement Adyen wide Strategic Planning, Priorities and Goal setting in close collaboration with the business and Strategic Finance.

Business Operations:

  • Drive business operations rhythm through business reviews at varying levels.
  • Cut through ambiguity and noise, framing problems clearly and driving towards structured, pragmatic solutions that balance speed and rigour.
  • Develop Leadership deliverables (narratives, decision documents, board materials) that simplify complexity and enable senior leaders to make decisions quickly.

Who you are

  • 12+ years of experience across Strategy, Business operations, Corporate Development, Product, Finance or related roles within Tech companies.
  • Strategic operator, equally comfortable zooming out to connect the dots as well as diving in the detail when necessary.
  • Know how to tackle deliverables and establish processes while keeping speed.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills to effectively handle multiple projects and prioritise accordingly.
  • Motivated by impact: you ensure nothing falls through the cracks, while also raising the level of thinking and execution across the team.
  • A trusted partner across the company, capable of building strong relationships and credibility across functions and all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data/situations and draw actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
