Job description

ROLE OVERVIEW
Our Business Operations Support Specialist will be engaged in performing a high volume of data entry, updates to existing data for accuracy, respond to request that come into the Helpdesk query, and other projects requested pertaining to data entry and/or operations as assigned. This person must be able to work well independently but will occasionally be brought into team projects. The candidate needs to be able to take initiative, become an expert that supports operations, and can communicate with the associates as needed for ensuring accurate data updates. It is important that you are able to maintain a high level of productivity and a satisfactory level of quality per department standards.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Perform high volume repetitive data entry quickly and accurately from a variety of sources into a computer database.
  • Respond to Helpdesk queries relating to customer record health, integration issues and general user support
  • Set Up of Customer Portal Accounts
  • Answer queries related to data or data errors in the system
  • Work on existing data to ensure it is accurate
  • Review won quotes to validate information is accurate and complete
  • Create contracts for approved won quotes
  • Maintain a satisfactory level of quality and productivity per department standards
  • Entering customers and recurring services for acquisition branches
  • Complete any additional assigned task as requested
  • Help improve and streamline operations standards and needs as we continue to grow as an organization and acquire new companies

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficient user of MS Office programs with an emphasis in Excel
  • 2 years of experience in a service industry or like position preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: controlled climate, office environment, customer & technician facing, heavy phone and computer work, required to sit for long periods of time, 8 or more hours per day, frequently required to use monitor, keyboard, mouse and phone, available for occasional business travel which may include nights and weekends
