Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the daily execution of federal data linkage activities. This position requires strong technical expertise in record linkage methodologies combined with excellent project management capabilities.
Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for managing the daily execution of all data linkage activities within the program. This includes developing and maintaining schedules, tracking deliverables, coordinating meetings, and proactively managing risks. You will ensure all linkage milestones and reporting requirements are met while providing technical assistance coordination and overseeing comprehensive linkage methodology documentation. This role requires sustained coordination effort with high frequency of deliverables and stakeholder interactions.
Key Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will manage the comprehensive execution of data linkage activities including scheduling, deliverable tracking, and stakeholder coordination. You will ensure all linkage milestones and reporting requirements are met on time and within scope. Your responsibilities include coordinating meetings and facilitating effective communication across teams and stakeholders. You will manage risks proactively through identification, assessment, and mitigation planning. Technical assistance coordination and linkage workflow management will be core functions, along with overseeing the development and maintenance of linkage methodology documentation. You will support additional data linkage activities as required by program needs.
Qualifications Summary
  • Strong statistical and analytical expertise
  • Experience in evaluating linkage accuracy using statistical metrics
  • Knowledge of probabilistic and deterministic record linkage methodologies
  • Experience linking records across datasets using PII and PPRL
  • Familiarity with CMS data and federal data management requirements
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience in data management or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience on projects of similar size and scope
  • Demonstrated experience with record linkage methodologies and statistical analysis

Education & Certifications
  • Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field OR Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field with 2 additional years of relevant experience.
  • Required Certifications: One or more of the following - PMP, CISSP, CISM, or SANS GSNA
