About the Role
Triton Systems, Inc. is seeking a Business Operations Manager to lead operations for one of its fastest-growing business units. Our US Cold Spray Solutions team is rapidly expanding its capabilities in the repair and manufacture of critical parts for the U.S. military, combining metallic cold spray repair, coatings, restoration, and additive manufacturing to deliver cutting-edge solutions to defense customers.
The Business Operations Manager will support Triton leadership, the business unit team, and the Director of U.S. Cold Spray Solutions, in ensuring timely execution of highly technical contract research and prototype build programs, and the technical teams operations with respect to the demonstration of new cutting edge capabilities in metallic cold spray technologies and applications.
Responsibilities:
Program Management
  • Supports program execution end-to-end: staffing, material procurement, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors
  • Supports the development of forecasts and plans for labor, capital, and other resource requirements
  • Ensures programs run on budget and schedule; proactively identify and mitigate risk
  • Serve as primary point of administrative contact with government and commercial customers, communicating capabilities, status, and programmatic progress

Team & Facility Support
  • Support day-to-day operations of the cold spray facility
  • Support the identification and recruitment of new staff as the team scales, enabling administrative and programmatic training

Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure programs comply with applicable ITAR, export control, and DFARS requirements

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in DoD program management
  • Experience managing medium-sized ($10-50M) government contracts, particularly with the Department of Defense
  • Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), integrated master schedules (IMS), and formal risk management frameworks
  • Proven track record supporting the buildout and management of project teams in a technical field
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
  • U.S. Persons (required due to ITAR/export control regulations)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD (Military Standard) requirements
  • Background in manufacturing and engineering operations
  • PMP certification
  • Completion of DAU (Defense Acquisition University) program management coursework/certification
