THE ROLE

We are seeking a high‑caliber Manager, Business Operations to join DDN's Business Operations & Strategy team. This is a high‑visibility, high‑impact role that sits at the center of DDN's most critical strategic, operational, and corporate development initiatives. The successful candidate will partner directly with senior leadership on a wide range of mission‑critical workstreams from day‑to‑day operational excellence to corporate development research and strategic planning.

This role is ideal for an analytically rigorous, execution‑oriented professional who thrives in fast‑paced environments, can move fluidly between strategic thinking and hands‑on execution, and is motivated by having real impact on a high‑growth technology company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Operations & Program Management

Drive cross‑functional operational programs from scoping through execution, maintaining accountability to milestones, owners, and outcomes

Support the design and implementation of scalable business processes across GTM, Finance, Product, and People functions

Build and maintain operating cadences, weekly/monthly/quarterly, including meeting structures, reporting rhythms, and dashboard infrastructure

Prepare high‑quality materials for executive and board‑level audiences, including briefings, decision memos, and performance reviews

Identify operational gaps and recommend prioritized interventions; track execution and measure impact

Act as a connective tissue across functions, ensuring alignment and information flow on key initiatives

Corporate Development Support

Conduct research and analysis in support of M&A targets, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities

Develop market maps and target screening frameworks across DDN's addressable segments

Support post‑merger integration planning and execution, including workstream coordination, synergy tracking, and stakeholder alignment

Prepare deal materials including executive summaries, investment theses, and diligence support packages

Maintain competitive intelligence on adjacent companies and market participants relevant to DDN's strategic expansion

Contribute to DDN's annual and multi‑year strategic planning cycles, including market sizing, scenario modeling, and priority setting

Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform strategic decisions across product, go‑to‑market, and geographic expansion

Support investor relations and fundraising efforts with research, benchmarking, and narrative development

Monitor industry trends, technology shifts, and competitive dynamics; distill into actionable insights for leadership

Assist in drafting and refining executive communications, strategy documents, and organizational announcements

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

3–5 years of total professional experience; prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, tech operations, or corporate strategy strongly preferred

Ideally track record of operating in high‑growth technology companies, particularly in infrastructure, enterprise software, or AI/HPC markets

Demonstrated experience supporting or owning corporate development workstreams (M&A research, diligence, integration)

Experience owning complex cross‑functional programs with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

Familiarity with AI infrastructure, cloud, or data storage markets is a meaningful plus

Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable with financial modeling, market sizing, and data‑driven storytelling

Strong written and verbal communication; able to craft executive‑ready materials with minimal guidance

High degree of organizational rigor, tracks details, manages up, and follows through without prompting

Ability to switch fluidly between strategic framing and tactical execution

Proficient in PowerPoint/Google Slides, Excel/Sheets, and productivity tools; familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, or BI tools a plus

Low‑ego, high‑output orientation; comfortable in ambiguity and rapid iteration

Education

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree from a top‑tier institution preferred (not required for exceptional candidates with equivalent experience)
