Job Title: General Manager (GM) of Business Operations - Kansas City Monarchs
Job Location: Legends Field - Kansas City, KS
Reports To:
President of Studer Entertainment & Retail
Job Summary: The General Manager (GM), Business Operations of the Kansas City Monarchs will oversee many aspects of the team's business operations. The GM will work closely with front office and ownership to ensure the team remains competitive, profitable, and well-integrated within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Oversee daily operations of the team's business and administrative functions.
โ€ข Ensure coordination between the front office and support teams to achieve organizational goals.
โ€ข Develop and manage the team's budget, including revenue generation, expenses, and cost control.
โ€ข Work with ownership to set and track financial targets, ensuring the team meets organizational goals.
โ€ข Oversee various departments in the front office, including the box office, marketing, group sales, community relations, and corporate sales.
โ€ข Hire, supervise, and evaluate front office staff in the box office, marketing, group sales, community relations, and corporate sales.
โ€ข Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to maximize performance and team morale.
โ€ข Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, sponsors, media, and fans.
โ€ข Work with the ownership group to support charitable endeavors and community engagement initiatives.
โ€ข Collaborate with ownership to develop long-term strategic goals for the team, including stadium improvements, fan engagement, and business operations.
โ€ข Assess the competitive landscape and identify opportunities for growth.

Qualifications:
