Job description

Shop ManagerBuild a Career. Lead a Team. Run a Business.
The Take 5 Family is looking for a strong leader who wants more than just a job. We are a locally owned and operated Take 5 Oil Change franchise, and we believe in investing in our people—not simply filling positions.
One of our core values is:
We Are Invested in You as a Person.

As a Shop Manager, you aren't just managing a shift. You are running a business. You will have ownership of your store's performance, your team's development, and the customer experience.
What You’ll Do
As a Shop Manager, you will:
  • Lead, coach, and develop your team
  • Create a positive culture where people want to work and grow
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Manage your store's daily operations and performance
  • Manage labor and staffing to meet the needs of the business
  • Train and develop employees for future leadership opportunities
  • Hold your team accountable to safety, quality, and operational standards
  • Help your store achieve sales, customer service, and performance goals
  • Build a team that takes pride in the work they do
You won't be doing it alone. Your District Manager will be there to coach, support, and help you succeed.
You Don't Have to Be a Mechanic
Mechanical experience is not required.

We can teach you how to change oil. We can teach you our systems and processes. We can train you on the automotive side of the business.
What we can't teach as easily is leadership, work ethic, attitude, and the desire to develop people.

If you know how to lead a team, communicate effectively, work hard, and take pride in what you do, we want to talk to you.

Who We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if you:
  • Enjoy leading and developing people
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude
  • Take ownership instead of making excuses
  • Are comfortable holding people accountable
  • Lead by example
  • Want to learn and grow
  • Are dependable and willing to work hard
  • Want to build a career—not just collect a paycheck
Previous management experience is helpful, but we are more interested in your leadership potential than your job title.

A Job Is Easy to Find. A Career Is Different.
Maybe you're not completely sure what you want your career to look like yet.
That's okay.
We're looking for people with the character, work ethic, and leadership potential to build something with us.
We have jobs available—but for the right people, we have careers available.

Our goal isn't simply to hire you for the position you're applying for. It's to help you become a better leader, develop your skills, and create opportunities for your future.
The Honest Truth
Some job descriptions are full of corporate language and promises that sound too good to be true.
This isn't one of them.

This is a hands-on leadership position. It takes hard work. You'll be responsible for people, customers, performance, and the day-to-day success of your store.
But if you're willing to work hard, learn, lead, and grow, we will invest in you and give you the opportunity to build something bigger than just a job.

If you're ready to lead a team, run a business, and build a career, we'd like to meet you.
