Job description

The Director, Business Operations is responsible for overseeing multiple projects, ensuring program goals are reached within timeframe and budget. The Business Operations Director identifies risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department, maintaining organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance.General Responsibilities Directs all phases of client programs, from inception through completion Responsible for the cost, implementation and performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs Coordinates the preparation of business plans, work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract Ensures the development process is congruent with current market trends, program goals, and client needs Acts as the primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and performance Analyzes problem/opportunity areas of assigned programs and evaluates options Evaluates performance and makes recommendations Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to program plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications Determines the profitability and viability of new products or program enhancements Develops strategies and tactics to ensure effective program performance relative to market opportunity, working closely with company functional groups over the entire life cycle Directs and oversees responsibilities of team to ensure priorities and deliverables are metExperience / Qualifications A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Responsibilities:

Drive alignment across all of the functions executing work within the region to achieve the regional goals

Develop and deploy MOS to enable effective execution across the various functions

Influence organizational structure of functional teams to enable success in the region

Develop standard processes to enable efficiency and eliminate barriers

Identify issues within the region proactively and drive resolution of issues (via big rock initiatives etc.)

Work across organization to eliminate barriers for operational and development issues

Create bandwidth for the VP-GMs to focus on highest priority needs within the region

Own regional RASCI

Manages communication between regional and global focused activities to avoid silo creation

Develop and own balance of HVOR vs Auto regional strategies to achieve goals

Assess tradeoffs and balance growth across HVOR and Auto

Balance based on regional specifics

Ensure closed loop feedback from regional to global team

Drive monthly review

Base Salary Range:

$197,360.00 - $271,370.00
