Site Operations Manager

Full Time Senior Management Redstone Arsenal, AL, US

ProLog, Inc. is seeking a Site Operations Manager for Analytical Operations to direct and oversee all analytical, data science, process optimization, and software integration operations supporting the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Logistics Center (ALC) Supply Chain Management Directorate (SCMD) at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. The Site Operations Manager will provide direct leadership to multi-disciplinary teams of senior and junior logistics analysts, data scientists, and systems developers. This position is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of all PWS analytical requirements, delivery of predictive modeling products, cycle-time compliance, and operational decision support to Army aviation and missile supply chain leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide dedicated, hands-on operational leadership and daily direction for all analytical, data modeling, software development, and reporting teams at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
  • Lead execution of technical tasks under PWS 2.5.7 and 2.5.8, encompassing logistics analysis, process optimization, data engineering, statistical modeling, and AI decision support.
  • Direct senior and junior analysts in evaluating supply chain performance, inventory health, demand forecasting, lead times, fill rates, and supply availability.
  • Oversee the development and production of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics products, dashboards (Power BI/Tableau), and executive briefing materials.
  • Manage workflow allocation, task prioritization, output accuracy, and turnaround times for all analytical inquiries and customer requests.
  • Ensure all data processing, analytical modeling, and system integration efforts strictly meet AQL standards defined in the Performance Requirements Summary (PRS) (e.g., >95% analysis turnaround time, <3% error rate).
  • Oversee software integration, custom tool development, and navigation of the Army Authority to Operate (ATO) and cybersecurity processes under AR 25-2.
  • Serve as the primary onsite analytical liaison to AMCOM ALC SCMD directors, division chiefs, program management offices, and technical points of contact.
  • Collaborate closely with the Program Manager and Fort Bliss Site Operations Manager to align analytical findings with physical warehouse and distribution operations.
  • Oversee site quality control checks on analytical outputs, data completeness, report formatting, and trend analysis deliverables (CDRL A009).
  • Manage onsite personnel administrative functions, including attendance, performance evaluations, technical training, security compliance, and workplace safety.
  • Identify operational risks, supply chain bottlenecks, and data gaps, developing proactive mitigation strategies and recommendations for Government stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with Army security regulations, Operations Security (OPSEC), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) handling, and GCC High computing standards.
  • Facilitate continuous learning and professional development for site analytical staff, mentoring junior analysts and technical developers.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • 7 or more years of experience in supply chain analysis, advanced data analytics, or leading technical/analytical teams.
  • 3 or more years of direct leadership/management experience in a Department of Defense (DoD) or U.S. Army environment.
  • Proven leadership, interpersonal, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams supporting complex supply chain or defense analytics programs.
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance eligibility.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience supporting AMCOM ALC SCMD, Army Materiel Command (AMC), or defense supply centers.
  • In-depth understanding of Army logistics systems (LMP, GCSS-Army) and data structures.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau), SQL, Python, R, and advanced statistical modeling.
  • Working knowledge of Army Working Capital Fund (AWCF) supply chain metrics and Class IX supply management.
  • Experience supporting custom software lifecycle development, DoD cybersecurity requirements, and ATO processes.
  • Current SECRET security clearance eligibility.
