Global Partners is seeking a curious and analytically minded Advanced Analytics Intern to support quantitative analysis and data-driven decision making across our core business units.
Reporting to the Central Analytics team, this internship is ideal for a student interested in applying statistical and analytical methods to real business questions. The intern will gain hands-on experience with a modern cloud analytics stack, working alongside analysts and analytics engineers to turn raw data into insights that inform how the business operates.

Job Description:

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis on operational and financial datasets to surface trends and anomalies worth deeper investigation.

  • Write and refine SQL queries against our cloud data warehouse to build clean, analysis-ready datasets.

  • Support statistical analyses such as forecasting and experiment evaluation, using tools including Python or R.

  • Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations that make analytical results accessible to business stakeholders.

  • Assist with data validation and quality checks so that analytical outputs are accurate and reproducible.

  • Collaborate with analysts and business partners to translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Document methodology and assumptions so that analyses can be reviewed and repeated by others.

  • Contribute to a capstone analysis presented to analytics leadership at the end of the internship.

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $18.00

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
