Job Description:
Join a growing technology organization as a Senior QA Test Engineer, where you will serve as a key quality leader responsible for ensuring the reliability, stability, and performance of complex business-critical applications. This role combines hands-on testing expertise with technical leadership, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Business Analysts, and QA leadership to strengthen quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with automated testing in C# and Playwright, thrives in Agile environments, and enjoys influencing quality outcomes across teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for complex features, integrations, and enterprise initiatives.
  • Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and validation artifacts based on business and technical requirements.
  • Perform functional, integration, end-to-end, API, backend, and system-level testing.
  • Translate acceptance criteria into robust test scenarios, including edge cases, negative testing, and data validation.
  • Investigate, document, and support resolution of software defects through root cause analysis and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to improve requirements quality and testability.
  • Enhance and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites using C# and Playwright.
  • Support CI/CD initiatives by contributing to automated testing and quality validation processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts related to testing practices, automation reliability, and overall product quality.
  • Mentor junior QA team members through knowledge sharing, test reviews, and best practice guidance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience with a strong focus on automation testing.
  • Proficiency with C# and Playwright, including maintaining and enhancing automated test frameworks.
  • Experience testing APIs using Postman or similar tools.
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar application lifecycle management tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
  • Experience contributing to test automation strategy and framework design.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while influencing quality outcomes across multiple teams.
  • Experience within insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industries preferred.
