Position Overview:
 

The Business Operations Supervisor leads a team responsible for processing incoming continuing education test materials, payments, and related documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient completion of daily tasks within a controlled clean-room environment. 

The Supervisor is responsible for onboarding new mailings, systems, and tests-making sure the team has the information it needs and is processing correctly and consistently-and for keeping cross-functional stakeholders informed on the team's output and status. 

Because the Supervisor works within the clean room alongside the team, personal cell phones and other personal electronic devices are not permitted while working in the clean room. This is a full-time, on-site position based in St. Louis, MO (Midtown).

What You Will Do:
   Lead and coach a team responsible for processing incoming continuing education test materials, payments, and documentation

   Onboard new mailings, systems, and tests, ensuring processes and information are set up correctly for the team

   Supervise and guarantee the accuracy and efficiency of outlined mailroom fulfillment duties 

   Keep cross-functional stakeholders informed on team output, status, and issues

   Oversee successful adaptation and compliance as systems, information, and requirements change

   Responsible for accurately preparing and reconciling daily check deposits, verifying payment batches, balancing deposit totals, and maintaining supporting documentation. Researches and resolves deposit discrepancies by reviewing payment records, bank reports, and transaction data, while collaborating with accounting, and Data Entry teams to correct errors and ensure accurate account reconciliation.

   Research and resolve reported trends related to problematic documentation, technical barriers, or lack of current information

   Present recommendations for process changes or additional staffing based on observed inadequacies or areas of improvement

   Resolve conflict in a professional and unbiased manner

   Follow all clean-room protocols, including refraining from personal cell phone or personal electronic device use while working on-site
What You Need To Succeed:
   Minimum 2 years' experience in an office environment

   Minimum 1 year of experience leading processes and/or team members

   High school diploma or GED required

   Clerical and/or managerial experience required

   Outstanding leadership and guidance skills

   Excels at operating in a fast-paced environment

   Ability to learn new software programs quickly and efficiently

   Strong, accurate data entry and typing skills

   Highly motivated, imaginative self-starter capable of working independently or in a group

   Strong time management skills, ability to meet deadlines, and strong organizational skills

   Good communication skills with management, customers, and the team

   Strong attention to detail

   Open to constructive feedback and continued growth
