Job description

Position Summary
CBRE GDS is seeking a Business Operations Lead Analyst to lead BD operations, analytics and bid response support across the entire Business Development group. This role drives data-informed decision making, pipeline integrity, and rapid-response capture activities in support of federal government contracting growth objectives.
This is a full-time, onsite/hybrid role in Tysons Corner, VA.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end BD operations using Salesforce to develop ad-hoc, weekly, and monthly metrics reporting, trend analysis, and executive dashboards.
  • Create and deliver weekly and monthly BD operations presentations in PowerPoint for leadership and pipeline reviews.
  • Conduct opportunity research via GovWin IQ, SAM.gov and open source, vet potential pursuits through structured gating sessions with the BD team, for pipeline integrity.
  • Prepare and facilitate monthly pipeline meetings by generating reports, updating opportunity data, and ensuring visibility into stage, value, and win probability.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and deal support to BD leads, including capture strategy support.
  • Support fast-turn bids on IDIQ vehicles by leveraging AI tools to generate compliant RFI, RFQ, and RFP responses and to evaluate opportunities for alignment with company capabilities.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in business operations, data analysis, or BD support.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar tool (dashboards, reporting, pipeline management) and familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with GovWin IQ, SAM.gov (or equivalent market intelligence platforms), and CRM opportunity tracking.
  • Demonstrated success using AI tools for rapid RFI/RFQ/RFP response development and procurement intelligence.
  • Proven track record supporting BD leadership in pipeline development, revenue forecasting, process automation and bid support.
