Compensation: $55,500K - $84,700K

Position Purpose:
Provide and supports the reporting needs of Saint Anthony Hospital.
โ€ข Develops stored procedures and reports that meet customer requirements.
โ€ข Suggests and implements procedural enhancements and code optimizations.
โ€ข Responsible for documentation configuration management.
โ€ข Designs, develops, maintains and upgrades operational and analytical reports
โ€ข Plans documentation deliverable(s) for projects, produces and updates estimates and provides timely and accurate reporting of status to the CIO and Director of Clinical Systems and Reporting.
โ€ข Analyzes requirements and develops data models to support reporting
โ€ข Documents the types and structure of the business data Prepares and maintains written technical documentation detailing the contents and operation of each report
โ€ข Demonstrates knowledge of Project Life cycle.
โ€ข Demonstrates proficiency in report writing software and tools (e.g., MS Visual Studio, SQL server tools, etc.).
โ€ข Demonstrates proficiency in documentation tools, image capturing tools and graphics tools.
โ€ข Implements code and reports in line with established plans and standards for the product.
โ€ข Liaison with architects, business analysts, developers and testing teams for content input and document reviews to ensure that product functionality is well documented.
โ€ข Proactively understands changes to project scope and making relevant changes to stored procedures and report code.
โ€ข Design Business and Clinical Analytics (BCA) dashboards and views for the needs of Saint Anthony Hospital.
โ€ข Utilizes PostGreSQL to augment BCA development, develop and utilize custom data sources to enhance the visualizations for the user community.
โ€ข Utilizes Meditech Report Designer to produce reports out of Meditech Expanse and utilizes the data repository for a foundation of the report writing capabilities.
โ€ข Maintains awareness of report writing trends in the industry to suggest and help implement relevant enhancements.
โ€ข Participates, as needed, in other data management and software development needs
Marginal Functions
ร˜ Performs both essential and marginal job functions in a safe manner as identified by Saint Anthony Hospital and the respective department while adhering to the Hospital's confidentiality norms and standards. Actively and consistently demonstrates the core values of Saint Anthony Hospital and Ascension Health in all interactions with others.
ร˜ Assumes responsibility for knowing and maintaining established hospital and departmental objectives, policies/procedures including general sanitation, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
ร˜ Participates in performance activities including problem identification, data collection, solution selection, implementation and evaluation. Also assists in the care and maintenance of departmental equipment and supplies as appropriate.
ร˜ Participates in staff meetings and other services, meetings or committees as required.
General Job Requirements
โ€ข 4 years of experience working with Microsoft Enterprise products.
โ€ข Documented experience in Meditech report writing and Business and Clinical Analytics (BCA)
โ€ข Experience with working on desktop/laptop systems and associated peripherals
โ€ข Basic understanding of networking and security principles (e.g. internet access, routing, servers, firewalls)
โ€ข Experience with desktop virtualization (e.g. Microsoft virtual PC, Citrix, VMware) is a plus.
โ€ข Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be very polished and presentable - this is a highly visible role within the organization.
โ€ข Demonstrable experience supporting senior executives, VPs etc.
โ€ข Ability to multitask and manage working on several different projects
โ€ข Must have excellent analytical and problem-resolution skills, be able to problem-solve independently or with other teams as appropriate.
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent education/professional work experience preferred
