Job description

KTVZ News 21 is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Manager to lead core financial operations, oversee key HR functions, and drive overall business performance. This role is integral to the daily operations of the #1 television station in the market, working closely with the General Manager and department heads to ensure alignment, efficiency and continued growth.
The Business Manager will serve as a critical partner across the organization, collaborating with Corporate Finance and HR teams to implement best practices, maintain compliance and support strategic initiatives. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a meaningful impact across multiple areas of the business.
Duties:
  • Monthly Financial Close
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Accounts Payable
  • Manage Sales Commissions
  • Manage Bi-weekly Payroll
  • Oversee Employee Onboarding/offboarding
  • Statutory Reporting
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. Media experience is preferred.
  • Five (5) plus years' experience in accounting role.
  • Two (2) plus years' experience in Human Resources is preferred.
  • Ability to pass a drug and background screening
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
