About The Opportunity

Netrix Global is seeking a Purchasing Agent to join our team! You will be responsible for the direct purchasing of products to fulfill customer orders. This is a hybrid position located in Bannockburn, IL.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Create and distribute purchase orders with speed and accuracy
  • Facilitate product returns when needed
  • Review and analyze back orders to determine alternate purchasing options
  • Adhere to purchasing policies and procedures and maintain established SLA's
  • Evaluate suppliers by considering price, availability, and other criteria
  • Work with warehouse and accounts payable to identify purchasing discrepancies and take appropriate action
  • Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment
  • Collaborate with suppliers on expedited delivery dates, monitoring delivery, and work with suppliers on late deliveries.
What You Will Bring To The Table
  • Previous experience in purchasing or other related fields
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Warehouse/Shipping experience a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be able to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office supplies weighing 25 pounds or less
