Position Overview

The Product Line Manager supports the Category Manager in delivering strong performance for Snowboarding products within the Elevate Outdoor Collective portfolio. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and maintaining key business data that informs product, pricing, and promotional decisions. The PLM will prepare reports, conduct market and consumer research, and coordinate information across cross-functional teams to ensure that category initiatives are executed on time and aligned with brand strategy.ย  This position is ideal for an analytically driven, detail-oriented professional looking to build expertise in category and product management within the outdoor industry.

Responsibilities

Product & Line Strategy

  • Develop seasonal product line plans that align with brand strategy, consumer insights, and category objectives.
  • Define product line architecture, segmentation, and model positioning across global markets.
  • Partner with Design and Development to create clear, actionable product briefs.
  • Support creation of merchandising plans and ensure cohesive product stories across the line.

Business Analysis & Execution

  • Analyze sales performance and product productivity to inform future line planning.
  • Maintain updated financial and product data, including cost targets and pricing guidance.
  • Support development of sales forecasts and manage product lifecycle transitions.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of product and material master data.

Go-to-Market & Collaboration

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to prepare Go-to-Market materials and presentations.
  • Support development of global product communication tools and training materials.
  • Partner with regional teams to ensure alignment on pricing, product flow, and positioning.
  • Drive consistency in product information across all internal and external channels.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field.
  • 1โ€“3 years of experience in category management, merchandising, FP&A, consumer insights, or related functions.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, modeling) and business intelligence/reporting tools.
  • Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and communicate findings clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for consumer goods, sports, and/or outdoor lifestyle products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in outdoor sports industry
  • Prior experience in a similar role

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • May be required to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
