These internships typically last a few months and allow participants to apply classroom learning in real-world settings, develop professional skills, and build valuable industry connections. Many business internships are paid, and some may lead to full-time job offers upon successful completion.

What types of projects does a business intern typically work on during an internship?

Business interns often participate in a variety of projects that support different departments, such as marketing, finance, operations, or human resources. These projects may include conducting market research, analyzing data to support business decisions, participating in team meetings, and assisting with process improvements.
