Job description

The Role
TrakMotive is seeking a Business Intelligence Data Analyst to transform our vast data landscape into actionable insights. In this role, you will act as a vital bridge between complex data systems and our strategic business units. You aren't just building reports; you are designing the visual narratives that allow our leadership to see the "why" behind the numbers.

From architecting interactive dashboards to performing deep-dive data validation, your work ensures that every department—from Supply Chain to Sales—operates with a single version of the truth. This is an ideal role for a data professional who enjoys the "detective work" of cleaning and transforming datasets and thrives in a collaborative environment where their analytical solutions directly influence global operational efficiency.
What You’ll Do
  • Design, gather requirements, create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for various organization departments
  • Collect, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources (internal systems, third party tools, customer portals, etc.)
  • Collaborate with business units to understand data needs and translate them into clear analytical solutions
  • Develop documentation of procedures and process flows for key reports, data flows and business processes performed by the department
  • Support the maintenance of internal company databases and files
  • Conduct due diligence analysis and validation of various internal and external data related exercises
Qualifications
Must Haves

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in retail, business intelligence, data analytics, statistical analysis or other analytics related fields
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools including SQL, Tableau, Power BI
  • Experience with compiling, analyzing, summarizing, and presenting large complex data sets
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
Nice to Haves
  • Preferred: familiarity with automotive aftermarket industry, vehicle parts and parts data documentation knowledge
  • Fluency in Mandarin and/or Spanish

Pay Band: $70,600 - $93,800
Physical Demands amp; Requirements
Physical Effort: Occasional to frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs. Position involves a combination of stationary work and frequent movement throughout the facility and across multiple levels.
