Task Breakdown
โ€ข Reporting & Dashboards:
Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Amazon QuickSight (or equivalent BI tools) to track key procurement metrics including on-time delivery, blank promise dates past SLA, PO placement, aged intransit shipments, and vendor performance across 200+ suppliers
โ€ข Data Pipeline Development:
Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data models to consolidate procurement data from multiple sources (Oracle EBS, internal systems, vendor portals) into reliable, queryable datasets
โ€ข Metric Automation:
Automate recurring reporting processes such as JIRA ticket aging for receiving issues, weekly PO line tracking, and supplier scorecards to reduce manual effort for the buyer team
โ€ข Ad Hoc Analysis:
Conduct deep-dive analyses to support procurement decision-making, including spend analysis, supplier risk assessment, lead time trends, and portfolio-level performance reviews
โ€ข Stakeholder Partnership:
Collaborate with L4/L5 buyers, and procurement leadership to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and iterate based on feedback
โ€ข Data Quality:
Monitor and improve data quality across procurement datasets, identifying and resolving discrepancies in PO data, delivery metrics, and vendor master data
โ€ข Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline procurement operations through data automation
โ€ข Self-Service Enablement:
Build self-service tools and documentation that empower buyers and managers to independently access and interpret procurement data
