Business Intelligence Analyst
Location: Merrifield, VA, Winchester, VA, or Pensacola, FL (Hybrid)
Role Overview
This position is for a mid-level Business Intelligence Analyst. The role supports business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting. The focus is on evaluating the performance of new digital enhancements and stewarding the experience of mobile, online, and employee-facing applications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize SQL and Power BI, or similar tools, to develop dashboards and reports.
  • Extrapolate insights from dashboards to create compelling narratives and data stories for executive presentations.
  • Establish key metrics to measure business impact and the success of digital enhancements.
  • Measure the impact of new initiatives by establishing event dates, measuring pre- and post-period changes, and accounting for external factors.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, keeping various teams updated on progress and obstacles.
  • Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple sources to drive insights into digital performance and user behavior.
  • Develop and maintain advanced reporting, dashboards, and scorecards to monitor digital product health and performance.
  • Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators and display root cause analysis of performance issues.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or digital analytics.
  • Advanced skill with data analysis and programming languages such as SQL.
  • Proficiency using business intelligence applications like Power BI or Tableau to develop reporting and dashboards.
  • Experience in data storytelling and presenting insights to executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish key metrics that drive business impact.
  • Experience measuring impact by analyzing pre- and post-period data to determine lift or change.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced skill using statistical methods, mathematical techniques, and root cause analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with Databricks, Adobe Analytics, LLM, or AI technologies.
  • Familiarity with the Agile framework.
  • Experience supporting analytics for mobile, online banking, or digital products.
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL-based data environments, and digital analytics platforms.
