Job description

The Business Intelligence (BI) Director at Southeast Primary Care Partners plays a pivotal role in enhancing the decision‑making capability of the organization through actionable insights and data‑driven strategies. Responsible for leading a dedicated BI team, the manager will ensure that all reporting and analytics efforts align with organizational goals and meet the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency, while ensuring compliance and alignment with our organizational strategy/business plan. Reports directly to the COO.

Requirements
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and oversee the strategic vision for BI within the organization. Foster a data‑driven culture that values insights and evidence‑based decisions.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BI professionals. Coordinate and supervise all tasks related to the design, development, and deployment of reports and analytics.
  • Data Warehousing: Oversee the building, maintenance, and upgrades of reports, dashboards, cubes, and the data warehouse, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Utilize advanced tools and methodologies for deep data analysis and compelling visualization using tools like SSRS & Power BI.
  • Integration: Ensure data from various sources are harmoniously integrated with the help of tools like SSIS.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Best Practices & Governance: Advocate for and implement best practices in BI, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and reliability of all data‑related efforts.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest in Big Data tools and technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
Required Qualifications And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in data analysis, mining (T‑SQL, MDX, DAX) and visualization (SSRS & Power BI).
  • Proven experience with data integration using SSIS.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of BI concepts, with the ability to communicate them to diverse audiences.
  • Prior experience in business data modeling and metadata structuring.
  • Leadership or managerial experience, preferably within BI and ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with Big Data tools such as Kafka, S3, data lake, Python, R.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations as they relate to data management and reporting.
