About The Role

The Head of Strategic Initiatives is a direct report to the CFO and a key member of the Office of the CFO, working closely alongside the VP of Accounting, VP of Finance, VP of Corporate Development, and General Counsel. Acting as an extension of the CFO, this role drives execution across the company's highest-priority strategic initiatives — spanning enterprise systems transformation, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. The role serves as program owner for the CFO's strategic initiative portfolio: coordinating cross-functional efforts, aligning stakeholders, monitoring performance, and ensuring critical priorities deliver measurable outcomes. Success requires strong business judgment, analytical rigor, executive presence, and the ability to influence across the organization without direct authority. This person should be open to working at a coworking space in the Denver area a couple of days each week.

As Zeitview scales the company faces increasing complexity across systems, processes, and organizational structures. Many of the most important initiatives require coordination across multiple functions and do not fit neatly within a single department. This role provides dedicated execution leadership to bridge that gap — enabling the CFO and executive team to focus on strategic decision-making while ensuring initiatives maintain momentum and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive execution across the CFO's strategic initiative portfolio
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable workplans, milestones, and accountability frameworks
  • Establish and maintain initiative governance processes
  • Monitor progress and proactively identify execution risks and dependencies
  • Escalate issues and recommendations to executive leadership as appropriate
  • Ensure alignment across stakeholders and participating teams
  • Manage operating cadences for strategic initiatives
  • Coordinate executive working sessions and decision forums
  • Prepare executive updates, dashboards, and reporting materials
  • Ensure action items are documented and followed through to completion
  • Drive organizational accountability and execution discipline

The "Must-Haves"

  • 5–7 years in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic finance, corporate development, or program management
  • Demonstrated success managing complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority
  • Experience developing executive-level presentations and analyses
  • Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • MBA or equivalent experience preferre

What We Offer

  • A seat at the table in a high-growth company where your work directly impacts the bottom line.
  • Flexible work environment with a focus on results rather than "hours in a chair."
  • Competitive salary with comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.
  • The opportunity to work with a world-class team of engineers, pilots, and data scientists.
  • Unlimited PTO: We mean it when we say we prioritize work-life balance and mental health
  • Work-from-home environment: flexibility for employees should be the norm for companies
  • Autonomy and upward mobility
  • Diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture: a place where your voice matters

This role has a base salary range of $130,000 - $160,000 USD, plus a target annual bonus. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and location within USA.
