ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF BUSINESS INFORMATION SYSTEMS

COLLINS COLLEGE OF BUSINESS

POSITION SUMMARY

The University of Tulsa's Collins College of Business has an opening for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Business Information Systems (BIS) at the Assistant Professor rank starting August 2027.  Salary is based on experience and will be competitive with AACSB accredited research institutions. Fringe benefits include life, health, disability insurance, and retirement. The University of Tulsa offers free tuition for faculty dependents after one year of employment. The University is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

Duties

The successful applicant will teach courses in the College's undergraduate BIS program and graduate MBA and other programs, develop and maintain high-quality academic research in the field of BIS, broadly defined, and engage in appropriate professional and service activities. 

Qualifications

Candidates who possess a Ph.D. degree in Information Systems or are ABDs who are close to completing their degree requirements are invited to apply. Teaching experience in traditional information systems courses, especially those more technical is especially welcome.
