The Opportunity

Are you competitive, outgoing, and comfortable picking up the phone? Are you looking for an opportunity where your effort directly impacts your earning potential and career growth?

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at MedTrainer, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective customers. Your goal is to start conversations, uncover challenges, and schedule qualified product demonstrations for our sales team.

You don't need to be a healthcare or SaaS expert on Day 1—we'll teach you! Through our structured BDR Academy, hands-on coaching, role plays, call reviews, and mentorship, you'll build the skills and product knowledge needed to succeed.

What You'll Do
  • Make 100+ outbound calls and emails per day to prospective healthcare organizations.
  • Start conversations, ask great questions, and identify potential customer needs.
  • Schedule qualified product demonstrations for the sales team.
  • Follow up with inbound leads from web, email, and phone inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate prospect and activity information in our CRM.
  • Learn from call reviews, coaching sessions, role plays, and feedback from experienced sales leaders.
  • Collaborate with your BDR teammates and the broader sales organization to hit individual and team goals.
  • Bring a positive, competitive attitude to a fast-paced environment where no two days are exactly the same.
What We're Looking For
  • 1+ year of outbound sales experience OR completion of a college sales program, BDR/SDR certification, or similar training.
  • Comfortable making 100+ outbound calls per day.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Coachable and eager to learn.
  • Self-motivated with a competitive mindset and strong work ethic.
  • Comfortable working toward measurable goals and sales targets.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Healthcare or SaaS experience is a plus, but not required.
Location & Schedule

This is a hybrid position based in Kansas City, MO.

  • Monday–Thursday: In office at our Kansas City WeWork location.
  • Friday: Remote.
  • Candidates should be located in the Kansas City area and able to consistently work the required in-office schedule.

Salary range
$45,000—$70,000 USD

At MedTrainer, every role contributes to building technology that supports safer, more efficient healthcare organizations. We value collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement across all teams.

If you're excited to grow, make an impact, and be part of a mission-driven company, we encourage you to apply.
