Overview:
Hypori is looking for a high-energy, execution-focused Business Development Representative to join our growing GTM team in Austin. You will be the outbound execution engine for our entire pipeline generation motion - making calls, running sequences, driving event attendance, and delivering direct outreach campaigns on behalf of the AE and marketing teams. If you are competitive, coachable, and motivated by results - and you want to grow fast in a cybersecurity SaaS company with a differentiated product and real traction - this role is built for you.
 
**MUST BE LOCAL TO AUSTIN. THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION THAT REQUIRES 2-3 DAYS A WEEK IN OFFICE**

Responsibilities:

Pipeline Generation

  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting via cold calls and email sequences against a defined target account list
  • Book qualified first meetings for Account Executives - your primary success metric
  • Penetrate targeted accounts with speed, persistence, and precision

Event & Field Support

  • Drive registrations and set on-site or follow-up meetings for Hypori-sponsored events and field programs
  • Execute pre- and post-event outreach to maximize pipeline yield from every event investment

Campaign Execution

  • Deliver direct outreach campaigns designed by Marketing against active pipeline and target accounts
  • Serve as the human execution layer for email air cover campaigns supporting AEs in active deals
  • Operate within defined sequences and messaging frameworks with the ability to personalize at scale

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of outbound sales or BDR/SDR experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or technology
  • Demonstrated ability to hit and exceed activity and pipeline metrics
  • Strong phone presence - comfortable making cold calls and do not need to be told twice
  • Excellent written communication; capable of crafting sharp, concise outbound emails
  • High energy, competitive by nature, and genuinely motivated by results
  • Coachable and process-oriented - executes the playbook and improves it over time
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement platforms
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across pipeline generation, event support, and campaign execution
  • Experience selling into Federal, Defense Industrial Base, or Financial Services verticals a plus
  • Exposure to cybersecurity, mobile security, or zero-trust concepts a plus
  • Familiarity with tools like Clay, ZoomInfo, Gong Engage, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator a plus

Compensation:
Base Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 (commensurate with experience)
Variable (MBO): $10,000 - $15,000 at target | Total comp potential up to $80,000
