Position Description
PCM Services is a commercial contractor in Beltsville, MD, which performs work across the DC/Baltimore metro areas and is seeking a motivated, results-driven Business Development Representative to join our Sales team.
Overview
The Business Development Representative is a hybrid role; you will spend 40-60% of the time working out of our Beltsville MD office and 40-60% remotely. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both with existing customers and generating new business leads. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a successful career in sales and business development in the construction and property services industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Implement established sales strategies (via phone, email, events) to engage both current and prospective customers.
  • Generate new business leads, qualify opportunities, and introduce meetings between prospects and the sales team.
  • Effectively utilize sales tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, and Costar to manage prospects, track activity, and nurture relationships.
  • Meet or exceed daily activity goals (50+ calls and follow-up emails).
  • Drive revenue-generating results from outreach and prospecting activities.
  • Leverage knowledge of PCM's services offers to introduce relevant solutions to clients in commercial real estate and property management sectors.
  • Develop and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with property managers, contractors, and decision-makers.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and success.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure seamless follow-through on qualified opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies, product offerings, and customer needs.

Position Requirements
Qualifications
  • Experience in sales development, business development, or account management role, preferably in the property management or construction trades sectors.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in generating leads and cold-calling prospects to build a sales pipeline.
  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required.
  • Knowledge of construction services (e.g., asphalt, concrete, electric, painting, landscaping, snow removal, power washing, restoration) is a plus.
