About the Role
As Uber continues to expand its services and strategic partnerships across US and Canada, the Business Development team is looking for a Strategic Partner Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of Uber's most important partnerships across Consumer Loyalty (Travel and Hospitality)
  • Consumer Loyalty Partnerships include strategic relationships with businesses such as Airlines and Hotels throughout the US and Canada

You will be responsible for executing and expanding existing partnerships, ensuring successful implementation of commercial agreements, driving strategic initiatives, and maximizing long-term value for Uber and its partners. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring close collaboration with teams across Business Development, Operations, Product, Finance, Legal, Policy, Marketing, and other regional and global stakeholders.
This is an individual contributor role on a high-performing Global Partner Management team. You will act as the owner of your partnership portfolio, leading cross-functional teams to deliver against strategic objectives, unlock growth opportunities, and strengthen executive-level partner relationships.
What You'll Do
  • Manage a portfolio of strategic partnerships across Consumer Loyalty, ensuring contractual obligations and business objectives are successfully delivered.
  • Own the ongoing governance, execution, and growth strategy for assigned partners, identifying opportunities to expand partnership value and drive business impact.
  • Lead cross-functional stakeholder groups to launch new initiatives, resolve escalations, and execute strategic programs.
  • Monitor partnership performance, develop business reviews, and communicate key insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain senior-level partner relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for strategic initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Business Development teams to support renewals, expansions, negotiations, and new partnership opportunities.
  • Drive alignment across regional and global teams to ensure consistent execution and a unified partner experience.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in Partner Management, Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Account Management, Consulting, or related fields.
  • Strong communication, and project management skills.

  • Experience managing strategic partnerships and leading complex cross-functional initiatives across technology, mobility, payments, loyalty
  • Analytical mindset with a proven ability to leverage insights and data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • A track record of complex problem solving, attention to detail, and delivering results cross-functionally.
  • Clear communicator, team orientated, and willing to take initiative while thinking two steps ahead.
  • Inquisitiveness, along with the ability to spot issues, get to the heart of a matter, and articulate plans to address them.

Responsibilities
For New York City, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $169,000 per year - USD $188,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $169,000 per year - USD $188,000 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
