About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Medical Device Assembler
• Pay Rate: $20.50/Hour
• Location: Forest Lake, MN
• Schedule: 3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday 11:15PM-7:15AM
• Position Type: Temp to Hire
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Consistent recent work history of at least 6 months at previous employers.
• Preferred previous experience in an industrial, agricultural, or manufacturing setting.
• Previous experience working in a role with formal processes.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding how to read and what blueprints are.
• Previous experience working with measurements (rulers, tape measures, etc.).
• Experience in articulating processes in a detailed manner.
• The ability to communicate in English in both written and verbal forms.
• Demonstrate a history of strong problem-solving skills.
• An ability to perform job functions based on quick timelines.
• Aptitude to learn and implement new skills for professional growth.
• Willingness to be cross trained in a variety of different roles.
• Must have correctable eyesight and good depth perception.
• Must be comfortable using hands and fingers with good dexterity to manipulate small parts.
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending, and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers.
• Ability to stand and sit for long durations depending on daily needs.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 40lbs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Use small hand tools to assemble medical devices and defense products.
• Inspect small parts under a microscope, following set guidelines and standards.
• Trim plastic parts using knives or cutters.
• Work in a clean room environment as needed.
• Operate manufacturing machines.
• Complete tasks accurately and on time.
• Record job progress and completion.
• Report any quality issues or challenges.
• Keep your work area clean and organized.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
