Mastery of surgical instruments, minimally invasive technologies, and proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems are critical. Exceptional decision-making, steady hands, resilience, and teamwork are soft skills that set outstanding surgeons apart. These competencies ensure safe, effective patient care and optimal surgical outcomes in high-pressure environments.

Continuous learning and mentorship are essential to building confidence and refining surgical techniques, especially when transitioning from residency to independent practice.
