What role you will play in our team

We are seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Business Development Manager to lead the development and execution of opportunities in the new business area of Energy Storage for ExxonMobil. This role combines deep domain expertise, innovation leadership, and operational excellence to develop new business model opportunities, commercial relationships and business partnership with potential 3P’s along the value chains.

About you

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • B.S. degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
  • 10+ years sxperience in the Energy Storage areas such as battery components, new energy storage technologies, and large stationary storage and mobility applications
  • Broad market development capability with leadership experience in developing and / or executing in new business spaces
  • Trained in technology competencies
  • Business model design experience, including technology licensing models
  • Creative, unconstrained clear thinker
  • Motivating and inspiring, passionate about creating new opportunities
  • A recognized business entrepreneur – able to see business value in new concepts outside of the base businesses comfort zone, translates new ideas into a clear vision, develop a compelling narrative to explains new areas of competitive advantage and value capture
  • Exudes courage of conviction
  • Comfortable developing relationships with atypical business partners and counter parties
  • Loves new technology, but is more excited by new businesses, markets and the possibility of deploying new technologies to grow the business
