HighTech Bound is a paid four to six-week summer program at The University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL) designed for students entering their senior year of High School. The program provides an exciting opportunity for ambitious high school students, like you, to experience software development in a real-world environment.
You will work in our computer lab with dedicated mentors who will guide you through an exciting summer, working on a team to create a solution for an assigned project. You will get to work with the latest technologies in software and hardware projects that are used in well-known companies. Have the opportunity to research solutions and contribute to a tech project that will be used for years.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Take part in a unique, hands-on experience to complete an assigned project

  • Develop real-world technical skills

  • Work with technology used in smart cars, internet devices, and more

  • Problem solve with new technologies

  • Prepare for an education in the technology field

  • Opportunities for employment after the program

  • Earn .5 high school credit through Virtual Learning Academy Charter School (VLACS)

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:

  • Entering Senior year of high school

  • Available to work 40 hours/week during summer

  • Must pass a pre-employment background check

Compensation Pay Range:

$11.50 /hour
