Description

The role of the Business Development Representative is to drive new business growth within an assigned territory while owning the full sales lifecycle—from initial outreach through close—and building long-term customer relationships based on trust and results.

Business Development Representatives work cross-functionally with IT, Software, and Print Specialists to identify opportunities, design the right solutions, and support outcomes aligned with customer goals. Success requires the ability to assess business needs and translate them into effective solutions, along with adaptability and consistent execution from prospecting through close.

Experience & Required Skills

  • Prospect and acquire new accounts through outbound outreach, referrals, and leads
  • Manage opportunities from initial conversation through close
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and sales forecasts
  • Partner with internal specialists to assess needs and recommend technology solutions
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships within your territory
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
  • Research accounts and industries to identify growth opportunities
  • Participate in sales meetings, training, and company events
  • Provide clear, measurable updates to leadership on activity
  • Support cost-benefit analysis for proposed solutions

Experience & Required Skills

  • Ability to engage prospects and build professional relationships

  • Product knowledge is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products

      Education & Certification

      • High School Diploma or GED

      Physical Requirements

      • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, including as a driver or passenger in an automobile.
      • Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 25 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 25 lbs.
      • Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time.
