With a strong in-house team structure that includes project management, estimating, design, and field crews, the organization operates with a high level of coordination and accountability. Their clients are primarily professionals and homeowners seeking a hands-off, well-managed construction experience, where transparency, precision, and trust are at the center of every project.

Position Overview

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for managing incoming leads, conducting discovery meetings with homeowners, developing initial scopes of work, presenting budget ranges, and guiding clients through the pre-construction and contract process.

You will work closely with our VP of Construction, estimator, project coordinator, design team, and customer experience staff to deliver an exceptional client experience from first conversation through signed contract.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming residential remodeling and custom home leads

  • Conduct discovery meetings with homeowners

  • Build rapport and establish trust with prospective clients

  • Develop initial scopes of work and budget ranges

  • Upload project information, notes, and photos into Buildertrend

  • Coordinate with estimating, design, and project management teams

  • Present proposals and contracts to clients

  • Lead weekly client communication meetings during active projects

  • Assist with change order communication and approvals

  • Maintain organized project documentation and communication

  • Attend networking events and community functions as needed

  • Represent the company professionally throughout the sales process
