Job description

Title:                    Business Development Representative

Location:             Robbinsville, NJ

Schedule:            Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

New Jersey Business Systems, a State-Contract vendor in specializing in wireless networks, structured cabling and advanced A.I.-based security cameras and technology is seeking a business development professional with a hunter mentality and strong communication and teamwork skills to further develop our sales portfolio through developing a pipeline and pursuing pre-qualified leads.

As our new Business Development Representative, you will:


· Via phone, e-mail or other methods, contact potential clients daily seeking information about planned projects and introducing NJBS’s products and services and track this activity

· Develop a pipeline through direct contact and follow up on qualified leads

· Meet with potential clients via in-person and virtual methods or schedule meetings for technical experts with potential clients

· Participate in trade show activities including set-up and break-down

· Conduct e-mail blasts informing potential clients of new or updated company offerings

· Update and/or create company social media accounts as needed

· Participate in continuing learning opportunities for company and affiliate products and services

· Continuously update and maintain internal sales database

· Provide weekly updates to team on activity and progress

Qualifications and Experience


Required:

· Proficient in use of a personal computer

· Google Drive / Docs / Sheets / Mail etc. experience

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

· Must be willing and able to travel within New Jersey and surrounding areas to visit potential clients and participate in walk-throughs for facilities such as schools and municipal buildings, or larger areas such as cities and towns

· High School Diploma or equivalent

New and experienced candidates will be considered. The following are qualifications and experience that will help our chosen candidate succeed:

· Business-to-business sales and business development

· Public Sector sales experience

· Developing a pipeline and pursuing pre-qualified leads

· Technical sales

· Social media marketing and e-mail blasts

· Tracking business development activity with transparency

· Using a CRM for daily activity tracking (Zoho CRM is a plus)

· Using Connectwise is a plus

· Knowledge of and/or experience in a wide variety of vertical markets

· Post-High School Technical Education or Associates or Bachelor’s Degree

Compensation & Benefits:


· Base Salary range of $40,000 to $50,000 (commensurate with experience) plus commission – opportunity to exceed $75,000 in first year.

· 401(k) with company match

· Healthcare 100% paid by company (with buy-up option)

· Reimbursement for additional training as required

· Reimbursement for mileage when using personal vehicle or monthly stipend for vehicle

· Casual environment in office with work-from-home option when practical after initial training period is completed
