Job description

The Business Development and Marketing Manager serves as a strategic leader responsible for advancing organizational growth while enhancing the market presence and brand reputation of Daviess Community Hospital (DCH). This role integrates proactive business development with strategic marketing initiatives to expand partnerships, increase service line utilization, and strengthen DCH's competitive position within the region.
This position is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing relationships with key collaborators across the healthcare continuum including hospital leadership, EMS, physicians, employers, providers, and post-acute partners while ensuring consistent, clear, and compelling communication of DCH's services, capabilities, and value.
Acting as a primary liaison between DCH and external partners, this role collaborates closely with internal leadership and service line teams to align growth strategies with marketing efforts. The Business Development and Marketing Manager plays a critical role in developing and advancing a robust pipeline of strategic opportunities, while supporting the planning and execution of initiatives that enhance community engagement, market awareness, and organizational growth.
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare business development, marketing, or a related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of traditional and digital marketing strategies, including content and social media marketing
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Preferred
• Experience in a clinical or healthcare operations environment
