**LOCAL CHICAGOLAND CANDIDATES ONLY**
Aqueity is looking for a Business Development Representativeto join our team. For the past 29 years, Aqueity has been providing exceptional IT managed services and cybersecurity solutions to a variety of businesses. Due to tremendous growth, we are looking for a business developer to join our sales team and engage prospects.
The successful candidate must be highly motivated to achieve weekly goals (50-75 calls per day)and be willing to schedule appointments for the sales team.
This position is onsite and based in Downers Grove, IL with a national territory.Compensation is competitive, with base salary plus commission.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Prospect targeted businesses through cold calling and outbound outreach to generate interest in Aqueity's services.
  • Execute the early stages of Aqueity's sales process by qualifying leads and setting appointments for the sales team.
  • Support marketing-driven campaigns by following up with webinar attendees, event leads, and other inbound or outbound initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing and internal subject matter experts to improve messaging, outreach strategies, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Represent Aqueity professionally in the marketplace and communicate our value proposition clearly to prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, and pipeline updates to support reporting, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Consistently engage decision-makers at target organizations with persistence, professionalism, and strong follow-up discipline.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in technology, business, sales/marketing or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven B2B sales experience, including cold calling, preferably in IT, professional services, or technology-related industries
  • Prior experience prospecting for IT or technology solutions is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales enablement/automation tools such as HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and Apollo
