Job description

The Business Manager provides comprehensive leadership and management of the Children's Campus business operations, financial administration, and human resources functions. This position directs the day-to-day fiscal and administrative operations of a complex, multi-funded early childhood education program serving children, families, faculty, staff, and students.

The Business Manager is responsible for financial planning, budget development, fiscal management, grant financial administration, procurement, personnel administration, business operations, regulatory compliance, and organizational reporting. Working collaboratively with Children's Campus leadership and University administrative departments, this position develops systems, policies, and operational procedures that promote fiscal accountability, regulatory compliance, organizational effectiveness, and long-term financial sustainability.

The Business Manager serves as the principal business officer for the Children's Campus and acts as the primary liaison with University Financial Services, Human Resources, Purchasing, Sponsored Projects, Budget Office, Payroll, and other University departments regarding fiscal and personnel matters.
