Job description

Description
Summary
We are seeking a commercially minded, growth-driven Business Development Manager, Technology Partners to expand and monetize Brivo’s technology ecosystem. In this role, you aren’t just managing relationships—you are a revenue multiplier. You will actively recruit new technology partners and work cross-functionally across Brivo and our partner network to drive new sales pipeline.
The ideal candidate sits at the intersection of technical strategy and business development. You know how to identify high-value partners, turn partner integrations into lead-generation engines, and strategically leverage partnerships to fill product gaps and close enterprise deals.

Responsibilities
  • Partner Recruitment & Ecosystem Expansion: Actively source strategic technology partners that complement Brivo’s cloud-based video and access control platforms and add immediate value to our customer base.
  • Revenue & Pipeline Generation: Drive new sales by establishing robust co-marketing and co-selling frameworks. Optimize the pipeline for inbound leads generated through our partner network.
  • Deal Acceleration & Product Gap Solutions: Collaborate closely with Brivo’s Sales and Product teams to identify functional gaps in active deals. Programmatically leverage partner integrations to solve customer pain points, remove sales friction, and win competitive accounts.
  • Cross-Functional Sales Enablement: Act as the bridge between Technology Partners and Brivo's sales, marketing, and product teams. Assist in training the Brivo sales teams on how to position, pitch, and sell joint partner solutions to accelerate deal velocity.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Partner Management, Business Development, Technical Account Management, or Sales Engineering within a SaaS, IoT, or PropTech environment.
  • Commercial & Sales Acumen: Proven track record of driving revenue through channels or technology partnerships. Experience managing a sales pipeline and utilizing CRMs (like Salesforce) to track partner-led revenue.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong familiarity with cloud architecture, APIs, and how software integrations function. Knowledge of physical security, cloud-based access control, video surveillance (VMS), or AI video analytics is highly preferred.
  • Deal-Closing Mindset: Ability to look at a complex sales opportunity, identify what integration or feature is missing, and creatively pull in the right partner to secure the win.
  • Influence & Communication: Outstanding negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to command a room, whether pitching to a potential partner’s C-suite or aligning internal teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

Why work for Brivo?
Brivo is an innovative, global start-up building the only platform powerful enough to support the future of video surveillance and security. Here your voice will be heard, and talent respected. We have proven leadership and financial backing of one of the world’s premier venture capital firms. The work we do is essential in today’s world, as our systems are used to protect the health, safety, and welfare of people and property around the world.
  • Medical Benefits: We offer competitive medical, vision, and dental plans. Company offsets premiums.
  • Taco Tuesdays: Like breakfast tacos? You’re at the right place, because weekly breakfast tacos are provided.
  • 401k plan with company match!
  • Weekly Lunch: Food is love. Especially when it is free.
  • Snacks: You will never go hungry.
  • Culture: Innovation drives our vibe.
  • Diversity: We embrace our global presence, the diverse ideas and backgrounds of our team to improve our culture, our products and grow our people and our business.
  • Unlimited PTO: We value our employees’ work/life balance and want you to spend the time off you need.
