Job description

Overview

Join CTG and help bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams on enterprise application development and maintenance (ADM) initiatives. We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst with strong SDLC expertise to gather and document business requirements, facilitate stakeholder collaboration, and support the successful delivery of application enhancements and system integrations.

This role is ideal for a business-focused analyst with experience in Snowflake, SQL, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), APIs, and application modernization—not a data engineering or business intelligence professional.

Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 12 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements throughout the SDLC.
  • Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement elicitation sessions.
  • Perform impact analysis, gap analysis, and business process mapping.
  • Develop business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and vendors.
  • Support API integration initiatives, application enhancements, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Validate business requirements through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and maintain end-to-end requirements traceability.

Required Skills:

  • Business Analysis within Application Development & Maintenance (ADM)
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • SQL and Snowflake
  • Talend and ETL concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise application development projects
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or similar Business Analysis certification is a plus
