We are hiring for the role of Computer Operations Manager. Below are the key details:

Role Overview

Lead and manage IT operations and the technical team delivering computer operations and support services. Oversee daily activities including project scheduling, incident response, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate daily activities of the technical team, including project scheduling, monitoring, and incident response.

  • Ensure operational support coverage and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Monitor system performance and availability, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain operational standards, procedures, and best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Plan and manage the integration and support of new technologies into the operational environment.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure seamless deployment and support of systems.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors, project leaders, and technical staff.

  • Conduct performance evaluations, training, and succession planning.

  • Provide input on business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of IT assets including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and servers.

  • Develop and implement IT service management processes: incident, problem, change, and request management.

  • Coordinate and support enterprise-wide software rollouts, updates, and patch management activities.

  • Monitor and improve service desk performance, timely resolution of user issues, and high customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of IT work experience, including managing teams responsible for production and operations support.

  • Proficiency in leading and managing delivery of IT services across multiple programs.

  • Strong knowledge of IT service management processes: incident, problem, change, and request management.

  • Experience with IT asset lifecycle management including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and servers.

  • Demonstrated expertise in software rollouts, updates, and patch management activities.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven ability to make sound decisions utilizing critical thinking and analysis.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Experience in team building, mentoring, and talent development.

  • Knowledge of IT compliance, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to work flexible hours between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday – Friday, including on-call rotation.

  • Willingness to travel between multiple locations (25%–40%).

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent IT work experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with IT service desk management and performance optimization.

  • Background in business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies.

  • Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and large-scale technology deployments.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Equivalent work experience acceptable.
