Under general direction of the Director of Institutional Research, support new and existing development under the University's Central Analytic Platform in support of institutional effectiveness.

Duties include: serve as liaison between Institutional Research and Data Engineering/Data Science to ensure data and data models align with IR and University reporting needs; assist in developing new and existing live and longitudinal extract data models, verifying accuracy and consistency over time and in the context of evolving reporting requirements; design and develop dashboards for the University community to support data-informed decisions across campus; develop research methods to address requests for information from senior administration, deans, department chairs, faculty, and other stakeholders across campus; support Board of Trustees, Academic Program Review, KPI, CDS, and IPEDS reporting processes; assist in maintaining the University's Facts & Figures; answer ad hoc requests, prepare institutional responses to internal and external queries related to admissions, enrollment, student outcomes, and faculty and staff recruitment and development; gather business requirements and participate in an agile dashboard development lifecycle; review dashboards for quality assurance/quality control; curate reports and dashboard to ensure data products uphold appropriate levels of confidentiality and privacy commensurate with data set; promote and ensure consistency of data and definitions across multiple data domains and reporting contexts within the University; monitor data integrity tests of underlying systems and platform; prepare and stage ad hoc or manually maintained data for inclusion into the data warehouse; write and maintain documentation on dashboards, models, business rules and presentation standards; maintain an ongoing program of professional development through membership, paper presentations, and active involvement in professional organizations.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or related discipline and 2 years of experience with data governance including collection, verification, analysis, and reporting in higher education using SQL and Tableau. Telecommuters considered.
