Classification: Business Associate Work Hours: 40+ hours / week: M - F About KUB: KUB is one of the largest public utilities in the country providing safe, reliable, and affordable electric, gas, water, wastewater, and fiber services to more than 520,000 customers in Knoxville and parts of seven surrounding counties. About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a background in accounting, finance, or data analytics to support the financial integrity and operational efficiency necessary to deliver safe, reliable utility services to our community.

This role helps ensure accurate financial reporting, effective billing and revenue processes, and strong internal financial controls that support reliable service to our customers. In this role, you will: Manage department operations, records, databases, reporting, and documentation. Coordinate with KUB departments and support meetings, projects, and special assignments.

Process timekeeping, purchasing, requisitions, invoices, and other financial transactions. Review financial activity and invoices for accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation. Qualifications Physical Requirements: This position is primarily sedentary and performed in a typical office environment.

Duties involve sitting most of the time with occasional walking or standing. The role may require occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of items up to 10 pounds. Bending, stooping, or reaching may occasionally be required.

Physical demands may vary by position and may occasionally exceed those described above. Minimum Requirements: Associate degree or two (2) years of documented college level coursework in Business, Technology, or related area or one (1) to three (3) years of demonstrated experience field Must be proficient in Windows environment and MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Must demonstrate customer service skills with external & internal customers Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication Have and maintain a valid driver's license Please note that due to job responsibilities, KUB does not provide immigration sponsorship for and/or based on this position.
