Job description

This role is designed to be part of the Global Functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, Legal, GTS, Communication and Marketing) CoE organization at BRP. This group consists of functional and technical experts across multiple application portfolios. The analyst will provide support and continuous improvement and project delivery to enable the organization to maximize investments in its new and existing solutions and achieve its goals and future growth objectives. We are looking for smart, independent, and motivated individuals who are excited to be part of this exciting growth journey.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Elicit, analyze, and document the business objectives (the “Why”), business requirements (the “What”), solution (functional and non-functional) and transition requirements (detailed requirements, the “How”). This will define the scope of the initiative and its key features.

  • Manage requirements: prioritize, categorize, maintain, and trace them until the solution “go-live”.

  • Be the link between business stakeholders and the initiative team (architects, development team, etc.) with respect to the scope and key features.

  • Facilitate collaboration, share information, organize and lead workshops related to the scope of the initiative.

  • Contribute to program/project planning activities.

  • Understand the solution architecture, existing and target, review the Solution Architecture Document.

  • Understand business processes, existing and target.

  • Ensure that solutions (business, high-level solutions, system specifications) satisfy requirements and key features.

  • Identify, manage, and address the gaps between the requirements and solution being delivered until they are resolved.

  • Support the definition of IS testing/integration test scenarios and the team during their execution.

  • Document the UAT test strategy, actively assist the business in the definition of UAT scenarios, and support the business during the execution of UAT.

  • Contribute to the change management strategy, planning activities, and risk assessment of the projects.

  • Contribute to the business handover and post-implementation support (operationalization).

  • Assist in documenting the various PMO processes with regards to Procurement applications management.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant subject areas.

  • 5+ years of experience in a Business analyst role and full life-cycle application implementation.

  • A deep understanding of Procurement (Global Sourcing).

  • Very strong understanding of procurements and customs activities.

  • Experience working with third-party integration applications.

  • Understanding of security, compliance and GDPR will be an asset.

  • Understanding of IS&T operational processes will be an asset.

  • Business knowledge and process design skills in a manufacturing industry will be an asset.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, a positive demeanor and a go-getter attitude.

  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of IT and business management.

  • Strong organizational skills as well as strong analytical problem-solving skills.

  • Good knowledge of Ariba, SAP GTS, and management systems/solutions will be an asset.

  • The ability to work in French and English (written and oral).
