Job Description:
What It Means to Be a Consultant at Crowe
Consulting is a dynamic business focused on solving problems for our clients and serving our core markets through innovative solutions. As technology and AI continue to reshape the consulting landscape, we are looking for individuals who are curious, adaptable, and eager to learn. At Crowe, consultants are expected to build both technical and transferable skills, think critically, and use technology to solve real business problems. In this role, you will continuously learn, collaborate across teams, and explore how tools, including emerging AI capabilities, can improve efficiency, insights, and client outcomes.
In management at Crowe, you play a pivotal role in leading teams, guiding project execution, and deepening client relationships. You are expected to contribute to account planning, identify opportunities to add value, and ensure high-quality delivery. As your responsibilities expand, you take on broader account ownership, balancing project leadership with growing involvement in client strategy and solution development.
Success in this role comes from a growth mindset, strong communication skills, advanced critical thinking, and the ability to navigate new challenges with confidence
Crowe is seeking a hands-on Technical Architect specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Applications. This client-facing, individual-contributor role is ideal for an architect who enjoys designing solutions while remaining actively involved in technical delivery. You'll work across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure, and DevOps, partnering with clients and delivery teams to design, build, troubleshoot, and implement scalable enterprise solutions.
What Success Looks Like
This is not a purely strategic, governance, or people-management role. We're looking for a Technical Architect who remains close to the technology and actively participates in delivery-from building prototypes and reviewing code to designing integrations, troubleshooting issues, establishing deployment pipelines, and supporting go-lives.
Success requires a builder mindset, technical curiosity, strong delivery ownership, and a commitment to continuous learning as the Microsoft Business Applications platform evolves.
What You'll Do
  • Design application, integration, data, security, and environment architecture across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, and Azure.
  • Lead technical delivery from discovery and design through implementation, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Design and implement integrations using APIs, Dataverse, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, and related technologies.
  • Build prototypes, review code and configurations, and troubleshoot application, integration, deployment, security, and performance issues.
  • Establish engineering and ALM standards, including source control, branching, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and deployment practices.
  • Translate architecture into actionable requirements for developers and consultants while identifying technical risks and dependencies.
  • Support Copilot, Power Platform, automation, and AI-enabled solutions with appropriate security and governance.
  • Lead client technical discussions, architecture workshops, demonstrations, and technical deep dives.
  • Support proposals, estimates, and delivery planning while mentoring developers and consultants.

What You'll Need
  • 7-10 years of experience designing and delivering enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations/AX, Customer Engagement, Dataverse, or related Dynamics 365 applications.
  • Technical leadership experience on at least two full-cycle Dynamics 365 implementations.
  • Recent hands-on experience with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and related engineering tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O extensibility, including X++, extensions, data entities, DMF, batch processing, security, and environment management.
  • Experience with Power Platform, Dataverse, REST/OData APIs, Azure integration services, and application lifecycle management.
  • Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, code reviews, and testing practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and client communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Experience
  • Additional Dynamics 365 applications, including Finance, Supply Chain, Commerce, Project Operations, Sales, Customer Service, or Field Service.
  • Dual-write, business events, virtual entities, and cross-application integrations.
  • Copilot Studio, AI Builder, generative AI, agents, or related AI capabilities.
  • Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Power BI, or enterprise data integration.
  • Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure certifications.

We expect the candidate to uphold Crowe's values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship. These values define who we are. We expect all of our people to act ethically and with integrity at all times.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Crowe is not sponsoring for work authorization at this time.
