Our Corporate Applications team is seeking an Application Manager to join the team. Application Managers are responsible for managing and supporting the software applications delivered by the department. Working closely with internal customers, external vendors and integration partners, Application Managers ensure applications are performing as intended and meet the business and customer needs. Application Managers have a strong development background, with experience in support, diagnosing, and resolving issues.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for application support, responding to and managing reported issues from internal customers and vendors.
  • Lead issue triage and troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve application problems securely and efficiently.
  • Monitor application health, scheduled processes, integrations, and batch jobs to ensure successful execution and timely resolution of failures.
  • Onboarding, configure, test, validate, and support EDI transactions and partner integrations to ensure accurate and reliable data exchange.
  • Execute functional, integration, and regression testing to validate system changes and enhancements before production deployment.
  • Guide customers on effective application usage and provide support to help them achieve their business objectives.
  • Document requirements, issues, and enhancement requests, providing clear work instructions and specifications to software engineering teams when development support is required.
  • Coordinate activities with global support, development, and business resources to ensure timely issue resolution and project delivery.
  • Maintain operational procedures, support documentation, and knowledge base content to promote consistency and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased system reliability.
  • Ensure application support activities comply with security, audit, and operational standards.

Skills & Abilities

  • Experience with eCommerce and ERP platforms.
  • Strong communication and multi-tasking skills.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce supply chain management and data sharing (EDI, API, etc).
  • Strong experience in cloud application management and support.
  • Experience with a variety of tech stacks and tools to aid in validation and troubleshooting of reported issues.
  • Experience and ability to create PL/SQL queries.
  • Working knowledge of micro-service architecture concepts.
  • Highly organized individuals with a drive for process improvements.
  • Ability to work well with a cross-functional team of varying technical skill sets.
  • Driven, self-motivated individual that takes pride in your work, ownership of your projects, and is accountable for the success of applications.

Education/Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years' technical application management experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in cloud computing.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in financial systems or ecommerce.
  • BS/BA in Computer Science or related field, preferred.

Base Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000. The final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, and skills.
