What you'll do:

The successful candidate will support Enterprise Operations automation initiatives with a strong emphasis on leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate, and AI-driven solutions. Acting as a Functional SME, this individual will have a clear understanding of business needs, processes, change impact, and the end user experience, while proactively identifying opportunities to automate workflows and drive efficiency through innovative technologies.
The role will be heavily involved in testing, training teams, and documenting new automations. The candidate will help guide conversations and assessments on the quality and effectiveness of AI-enhanced tools and automated processes, ensuring that deliverables align with business objectives.
Partnering closely with a cross-organizational team including operations, business leadership, project management, IT partners, and vendor partners, the successful candidate will champion the adoption of automation and AI, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and work with developers to translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and implement small custom applications and workflows to streamline business processes and enhance productivity utilizing Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Analyze data and generate insights to support decision-making and improve business operations.
  • Conduct regular assessments of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and automation.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of new technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Power Apps, Power Automate, and AI to continuously enhance our capabilities.

What you'll need:

  • 3+ years of related experience in Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with a focus on automation.
  • Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Intermediate knowledge in banking or financial services operations domain, experience writing business requirements working with subject matter expertise.
  • Intermediate Experience in documenting workflows, processes, functional designs, and managing a timeline/project task list and testing/implementation effort.
  • Payments knowledge to include payment types (ACH, Wires, SWIFT, RTP, Digital Assets) and file transfer protocol (FTP/SFTP) and API banking (helpful).
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
